This year, our stage came alive with music, story, and spirit—from our MLK Day reading of Letter from Birmingham City Jail to A Woman’s Work, celebrating Nikki Giovanni, Bernice Johnson Reagon, and Judith Jamison, and our Freedom & The Arts conversation with Senator Jack Reed and Congressman Gabe Amo.
In June, co-founder Bernadet Pitts-Wiley received a Pell Award for Excellence in the Arts, and our Summer Institute gave Pawtucket high school students paid, production-based experience. These young artists and their mentors brought laughter, lessons, and energy to A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Greatness of Gospel XVIII: Rejuvenation. Every moment of magic this year was made possible by you—thank you for helping us ensure it continues in 2026.
