SUMMARY:RIse to Black | That Freedom Feeling
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a powerful night that celebrates Black creativity\, history\, and expression. Kick off the evening by connecting in the vibrant gallery and MMT Lobby during our Mix n’ Mingle\, which will feature a dynamic presentation on photography and Black History by The Vanta Guild\, a Black photographer’s collective co-founded by MMT Artistic Director Jonathan Pitts-Wiley and led by culture worker and curator Dr. Melaine Ferdinand-King. \nCap the night with “That Freedom Feeling”\, a soul-stirring performance culminating in a moving 15-minute preview performance of “From Free to Freedom” — a visceral experience of what it means to rise\, reclaim\, and rejoice. \nRISE TO BLACK isn’t just an event. It’s a movement. Come feel the freedom. \nTHIS EVENT IS FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. \nREGISTRATION REQUIRED! Click here to register.
